It is impossible to celebrate the 615 without acknowledging the many establishments that make this city so great. From the food we eat, to the art we see, the fabric of Nashville is woven together by local businesses. We want to highlight a few of the many contributors to the city and let them tell their story in their own words.
“I’m not telling you that I’m the best, I am telling you that I’m trying as hard to give you the best that I can give you... I believe that is truly what has made the brand.”
Pat Martin - Owner, Martin's BBQ
“Just keep eating with me. Keep coming. When games and concerts and things start up again... please come back and eat with us, and please eat with everybody else too. Please.”
“I was born and raised in Nashville so I’m proud and grateful to own and operate this place. It really is special to me and it’s special to a lot of Nashvillians so that’s why we wanted to keep it really close to the same as it’s been for so many years.”
- Austin Ray - Owner, Melrose Billiard Parlor
“One thing about being in a basement is that you can tend to lose track of time maybe with a couple of cocktails and you’re shooting pool and all of the sudden it’s 2 o’clock in the morning.”
“We are very much part of the landscape because the shop has been here so long, throughout the years it’s become part of what people expect to see visually when they come to Nashville.”
Celene Aubry – Director, Hatch Show Print
“It’s really great that we are part of the continual conversation that happens not just in Nashville but elsewhere too to help celebrate the history of music or the history of Nashville or country music. It’s great.” Celene Aubry – Director, Hatch Show Print
