Celebrities, Fans, and Titans Greats join our nations Armed Forces for a last-second game winner that Titans fans won't soon forget

Billy Ray Cyrus, Trace Adkins, Mayor John Cooper, Voices of Service, Hall of Famer Robert Brazile, and Keith Bulluck were among the list of perfomers, celebrities and Titans greats who were in attendance for Sunday's win over the Chiefs

The pageantry

The NFL's Salute to Service initiative encourages us all to Honor, Empower, and Connect our nation’s service members, veterans, and their families. The effort could be felt and seen throughout the day from the time fans arrival outside the stadium, the players respect during introductions, Old Glory flying, to the best flyover in the country from the 101st Airborne Division from Fort Campbell.

Titans Offense

The Tennessee Titans offense, led by Derrick Henry's 188 yards and 2 TD's, led the Titans to a hard-fought 35-32 win over the Chiefs. Henry's performance also let to him being named FedEx Ground NFL Player of the Week.

Defense

The Titans defense put on their or show of toughness and excitement, scoring 1TD and holding the Chiefs back which led to a win on the final play.

Joshua Kalu

Kalu is one of the most likable guys on the team. He has a big smile and a fun personality, and his teammates like him because of his positive attitude and work ethic.

Kalu made one of the biggest plays of the game for the Titans in Sunday’s 35-32 win over the Chiefs. It was Kalu who timed his jump perfectly, and it resulted in a game-saving blocked field goal that made SportsCenter’s Top 10 list.

“I am filled with joy,” said Kalu, smiling. “I'm just happy, extremely happy, not just for me but for my teammates.”

Moments earlier, Kalu had sprinted off the edge from the left side to get his left hand on a 52-yard field goal try by Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker, a play that sparked a wild celebration.

“I couldn’t control my emotions,” Kalu said. “I was screaming, letting my emotions out. It hit me in my left hand, and I’ll never forget it. As soon as I blocked it, I knew we had won the game.

“I was at the bottom of the pile – my teammates swarmed me. That’s the first time in my life I was able to end a game like that, and I’ll never forget that moment the rest of my life.”
